Political Rounds Preface
Posted Tue, 11/11/07
I am trying not to become embroiled with the next Presidential election online via web log posts, but if I was hard pressed to vote for a candidate right now it would be a toss up between Hillary Clinton and John Edwards.
I have nothing against Barack Obama other than I think he needs more experience in the Senate before taking on the highest office in the land. Words and speeches are all well and good, but getting the actual job done requires someone who knows their way around the White House machine and through the political maneuvering exercised by those privileged enough to have a seat in either the House of Representatives or the United States Senate.
Needless to say I am not even remotely impressed by anyone on the Republican ticket for President. Rather than point out the obvious reasons why, I shall restrain myself for the time being.
But I'll reserve my final judgment for Election Day 2008.
