I welcome the arrival of winter. Last night's snowfall was the first real storm we've had in more than seven months. Eighty and ninety-degree temperatures began last April, much to my disgust. I'm going to relish every minute of what's sure to be a brief cold season.

On a work-related note, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of writing after a break taken during recent political rounds. That the presidential election turned out as it should makes it much easier to concentrate now.
