McCain Medicare Cuts

This is the absolute last straw:
According to the Wall Street Journal:
John McCain would pay for his health plan with major reductions to Medicare and Medicaid, a top aide said, in a move that independent analysts estimate could result in cuts of $1.3 trillion over 10 years to the government programs.
I heard the news last night for the first time, and I was shocked. I was quick to inform my parents about McCain's disconnected strategy, and I also printed off his healthcare "plan" available on the McCain-Palin web site. Naturally, the text on the McCain site talks about what he wants to do, but there is very little about how he plans to do it.
Of course McCain doesn't have to worry about healthcare or retirement because he is wealthy, but what about the rest of us? People pay into Medicare their entire working lives with the expectation of receiving benefits after they retire, and to date the coverage is still not enough. My mother supplements her Medicare benefits with a co-insurance source, otherwise she wouldn't be able to afford healthcare coverage at all.
And now we discover if elected McCain plans to cut those hard-earned Medicare benefits, which are already inadequate?
Anyone who votes for him now is simply off their rocker or so beyond brainwashed they can't see what is staring at them right square in the face.
