I have fallen prey to only one soap opera in my lifetime: General Hospital.
I've watched General Hospital since I was a kid, but I can not see it for years and then happen upon it again and decipher the storyline quickly. Some of the characters have been there for a long time (Tony "Luke" Geary for starters).
It's so easy to become hooked on the soap. I don't care for any of the others, but most afternoons at 2:00 p.m. will find me watching General Hospital unless I'm otherwise occupied with work.
