Writing Threads

For the most part, I like to write in story sequence for each book. In other words, when writing new material I tend to put together each scene as it happens in the the story rather than jump ahead and write portions for later use.
However, on occasion I've been known to break the habit and scribble something for insertion at a later point or scenes that might even depict the end of the story.
As I continue writing Megan's Legacy, I'm providing closure for longtime characters residing in the Collective Obsessions Saga. Some of them perish in horrible fashion, while others are destined to have peaceful and happy resolutions.
As the saga winds down on paper, I'm very grateful for my character spreadsheets and the separate lists of fictional location descriptions and collective edits to maintain consistency throughout.
I'd be in a right pickle without them now...
