Flashing Time

Where in the world did September go to? I was up late last night, and realized it was time to flip the calendars to the new month just before I went to bed. Was I in limbo the entire month of September? It seemed to go by in a flash.
The only good thing about this particular passage of time is the change in the weather. I am heartily sick of sunshine and heat, and I'm looking forward to the autumn cool and the bright colors. Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. I love baking pumpkin cookies, letting the wonderful aroma permeate the house. I'm not much for Halloween candy, but I do enjoy the spooky costumes of the season and the reel of horror flicks on the tube.
