Weekend Dither

I've spent the last two evenings polishing the first chapter of Quixotic Crossings (book two in the Collective Obsessions Saga), mainly because I made several changes in the outline a few weeks ago. Sometimes I dither about making alterations to the original story premise, especially when the changes are rather sweeping.
Thank God for the "Save As" feature in Microsoft Word and Word Perfect. I now have several versions of the book on my computer and on CD. I save the current draft by tacking on the date at the end of the file name. It helps keep me organized.
I expect to finish off the additions by mid-week.
