Good Belly Laughs

I've always liked Three and a Half Men. It's produced by Chuck Lorre, who also has a hand in the new sitcom Mike & Molly. For that reason alone, I decided to give it a chance a few weeks ago.

What a wonderful show! The two main characters, Mike and Molly (naturally) are hysterically funny. Actor Billy Gardell portrays Officer Mike Biggs, with Melissa McCarthy as Molly Flynn. Mike's partner, Officer Carl McMillan (Reno Wilson) is also a hoot. I find myself laughing out loud through the entire program. The humor between Mike and Molly always seems to be self-deprecating, and simply marvelous.

From Wikipedia:

Set in Chicago, Mike & Molly follows two obese people, Mike Biggs, a police officer who wants to shed some pounds, and Molly Flynn, a fourth-grade teacher wanting to embrace her curves, who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous group and become an unlikely pair. However, they also have to deal with the comments, jokes, and criticism from Mike's fast-talking partner Carl McMillan; Molly's slim sister Victoria and mother Joyce; and Samuel, a Senegalese waiter at the cops' favorite restaurant.

I'm not normally a big fan of sitcoms unless they're British (re: As Time Goes By), but I would recommend Mike & Molly to anyone. It's a nice stress relief, and definitely good for a dozen deep belly laughs.
