Mystery Palate

Last Saturday night I finished the last book in the Coffeehouse Mystery Series by Cleo Coyle, known as Decaffeinated Corpse. I'm looking forward to part six, which is titled "French Pressed" and is set for release in February 2008. The books are quick reads yet very entertaining. They make for light fare when all else unpleasant seems to be coming in for a landing.

Now I'm back to the Diane Mott Davidson titles, of which I'm currently reading Dying for Chocolate. I'm looking forward to running the gamut with that series as well.

I like both Coyle and Davidson. Their writing styles are easy and uncomplicated – just what I seem to need right now.

I'm not sure what is driving my thirst for mystery tales lately, but I am enjoying the run.
