Week Anew

Mum has been home since last Thursday, and she is doing quite well. It will take some time to recover from the surgery, but her appetite has increased and there are no signs of any infection – as would be in my case!
On a downward note, the heat is unbearable. It was past the 100-degree mark over the weekend with more of the same expected today. Please deliver me from the current weather scourge.
I haven't done much writing over the past week, but I did manage several hours on Saturday night. It's my intention to get back in the swing of things today, working exclusively on part six of Collective Obsessions (Hearts Desires).
