Back Amongst Them

I'm back amongst the land of the living, but this entry will be brief.
To make a long story short, my abdominal surgery last Thursday included the removal of part of my colon, the appendix while they were in the neighborhood, and the rearrangement of everything else. The three-hour operation was not life-threatening nor was any fatal disease involved, but I'm still quite sore and tire very easily.
I came home last Tuesday and have been dealing with the medical after effects and trying to recover. The doctor says everything went well, for which I'm glad. I'm just relieved it's over with.
I'll post again more when I feel a bit more chipper.
