Article Miscellanea

Over the last week I've had people contact me about two of my articles, specifically Billy the Kid and Jack the Ripper.

One gentleman is interested in penning a movie script about Billy the Kid, and wanted my take on various aspects of the outlaw's life. I wished him the best of luck, but there have been so many movies made about the Kid I can't imagine anything new under the sun. Everyone has their own opinion about the eventual fate of the Kid, anyway.

Two students from Universidade Estadual Júlio de Mesquita Filho in Brazil are preparing a seminary about Criminalistics using the case of Jack the Ripper, and they wrote me to request additional research sources. Aside from a variety of books, the best Ripper information site is Casebook.

There are days I miss writing monthly articles for Ambermont Magazine, but then again I don't miss being knee-deep in research for a piece while at the same time trying to write fiction. Since Ambermont changed their formatting to computer games last year, it's no longer a worry.
