Writers Cramp

Posted Mon, 01/23/06

I've been blog-absent for the last several days because I've been on a writing bender. Last night was a long haul, when I ended up penning until well after one in the morning. I was awake four hours later when Wilbert came home, but I never managed to get back into bed.

Certain early scenes in Quixotic Crossings (book two in the Collective Obsessions Saga) will include dialog and settings in Paris, so I've boned-up on the area in which the scenes take place. Either I'm a bit rummy or it's sort of ironic how a writer will sometimes endeavor to achieve location authenticity even though the story takes place in a work of fiction.
